梁平竹帘以重庆市梁平县境盛产的慈竹为原料，竹帘生产以民间手工技术为主，借助简单而巧妙的木结构机械，抽成细如毫发的竹丝，经过数数道工序的手工制作，织成薄如蝉翼、形似锦帛的独特竹帘工艺品，并结合书画、刺绣、植绒等多种表现手法，精工制作出各种形式的挂帘、屏风、装饰画及实用工艺品。一件完整的竹帘画制品，从收取竹子到成品包装入库，要经过80余道工序，需要优秀的技术和密切的配合来完成。作品曾多次作为重要的出国访问的礼品。北京人民大会堂，钓鱼台国宾馆都有珍藏。多次被中国竹业协会、中国第四届竹业博览会授予金奖。
